Georgia residents are being warned to prepare for heavy rain and potential power outages as Hurricane Helene rolls in. The southern part of the state is in a hurricane warning, while the upper half is expected to feel tropical storm conditions in the next two-days. Many areas could see up to ten-inches of rain.
Votes cast for two presidential candidates on Georgia ballots won't be counted. That's the decision made by the state Supreme Court yesterday, after the justice found Cornel West and Claudia de la Cruz were not legally qualified. Display signs will now be placed at each polling location to advise voters that ballots cast for West and De la Cruz won't be counted. Robert F. Kennedy, Junior will also be off-ballot after pulling out of the race to endorse Donald Trump.
