A recent study conducted by CardSnacks and Prodege reveals that 71% of moms value the thought behind a gift more than the gift itself. Not surprisingly, 87% of moms would pretend to like a gift even if they didn't. Contrary to popular belief, moms prefer gift cards over flowers and jewelry for Mother's Day, with 96% considering it an appropriate gift. Additionally, most moms do not feel the need to be recognized on social media and prefer personalized gestures like heartfelt cards or ecards. The study also found that spending time with family, particularly having dinner or brunch with their children, is the most desired activity for moms on Mother's Day.
