Starting Tuesday, new beach rules are in effect across the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach, dogs are allowed on the beach as long as they're on leashes, bicycles on the boardwalk, and tents and canopies up to 12 feet behind the umbrella line. The splash pad at Futrell Park will be off until Memorial Day, and kayaks and surfboards will have more freedom to move around. WBTW reports that North Myrtle Beach will also see similar changes, while Surfside Beach's rules will remain until September 15.
