Free clinics in Virginia need more help from the state. And a bill in the legislature sponsored by Delegate Rodney Wilette and State Sen. Schuyler VanValkenburg would do so. It would boost state support for free clinics by $4 million a year for a total of $8.3 million a year. That’s 17% of their budget to serve around 108,000 patients annually.
