A Richmond woman is using Facebook to help storm recovery. Melissa Burton's 10,000 member Facebook group Helping Each Other RVA organizes giving for Helene and Milton recovery. The Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia reopens after Helene. The Friday opening follows flooding in the Appalachian region. The Parkway is now open from milepost 0 to milepost 198 in Virginia, which includes scenic views of Shenandoah National Park. The North Carolina section remains close while crews repair and clear damage.
