A father and son fishing trip ends in drowning on the Rappahannock River. 6 yr old Donovan Sumner fell into the water March 22nd and his father Danny Sumner jumped in to save him. His widow Madeline Sumner tells News-4.....Preview: It was just around the corner from their Fredericksburg home. Spotsylvania Co. deputies say Donovan just caught a fish when he fell in. The community is raising funds for Madeline Sumner and her remaining child - Donovan's 2 yr old brother D-J.
