A mistake puts a Richmond-area man in jail in the Turks and Caicos [KAY-cos] east of the Bahamas. He's Tyler Wenrich -- detained April 20th in the British territory for having 2 bullets in his luggage, unintentionally. Conviction could mean jail for a minimum 12 yrs. His wife Jeriann tells CBS-6 he's eligible for bond but has to stay on the island.....Preview: She's looking forward to speaking with him after he bonds out, but says it's an emotional rollercoaster ride. A Virginia school bus accident Friday morning sends 7 students to the hospital plus the bus driver. All minor injuries. State Police say a 57 yr old Chester Hickman JRs Trailblazer hit the rear of the bus in Appomattox Co. - Hickman also went to the hospital with minor injuries and faces a reckless driving charge. About 40 students on the bus.

An iconic Richmond-area manmade lake and swimming spot will not be open this summer. The 36 acre Haddad’s Lake in Henrico Co. was put up for sale last yr for $975,000. Now, owner Dorian Haddad says they’re taking the summer off to think about how to move forward. The lake’s been a Richmond area swimming hole since 1965.
