Newly minted GOP V-P candidate J-D Vance holds a rally in Virginia next week. Vance will speak Monday night in Radford (near Blacksburg) and expected to attack Biden policies. Experts expect Vance to cite the rising price of groceries and gas plus the growing number of apprehensions at the southern border. It’ll be his 2nd rally Monday.

Erosion problems continue with the Mountain Valley Pipeline in southwest Virginia after its 1st month in operation. It’s still sweeping muddy water and sediment onto adjacent property and into nearby streams. Regulators finding about 35 cases of sediment flowing off the right-of-way through 100 miles of the New River and Roanoke valleys.
