Chesterfield Co.’s new 3-story middle school opens as the largest middle school in central Virginia. The Thursday grand opening showcased the 3 story school built for 1,800 students and with a 1,200 seat auditorium and cafeteria that seats 650 students at a time. The $107 million school houses 6th, 7th, and 8th graders on separate floors.
