A Virginia Beach boy brings a bullet to school and the boy who reports it gets suspended. St. John The Apostle suspended him last week after he waited 2 hours during testing before reporting it to the principal. The 6th grader's mother Rachel Wigant [WY-gant] tells News-10 her son wanted to be anonymous but the principal told him.....

A lawyer with the Virginia Poverty Law Center in Richmond suggests older people in the state are going hungry. The reason: federal benefits decreasing after the COVID-19 pandemic. Lawyer Casie Edner is calling for the federal government to raise the minimum SNAP benefit to $50. Right now the SNAP minimum is $23 with a max of $292.

The Virginia Beach “Something in the Water” music festival is off - postponed until April 2025. Producer Pharrell Williams notified the State Friday the festival simply wasn’t ready.
