A 2 yr old boy is dead after falling into a septic tank Friday afternoon in Northumberland Co. near the Chesapeake Bay. The sheriff says the toddler found a way to open the lid of a nearby plastic septic tank and fell in. His father got him out and performed CPR, but the boy died later in the hospital.
