A snow sledding accident leaves a woman dead in Suffolk. Suffolk Police say the Thursday afternoon incident injured 5 others, including 2 children. Chief Danny Buie [BOO-ee] tells News-10 a UTV was pulling a makeshift sled in the snow.....Preview: Police describe how the woman died as undetermined. Injuries to the 5 others - 3 adults and 2 children - are not life-threatening. No word on whether or not the driver of that utility terrain vehicle will face charges.

A bill on Gov. Youngkin’s desk would require Virginians to buckle up even if they’re sitting in the backseat. It says all adults in a vehicle equipped with a safety belt system must use it when the motor vehicle is in motion on a public highway. Current law only requires that in the front seat. Kids in the back are already supposed to buckle up.
