Tariffs aren't slowing down sales at Virginia flower shops ahead of Mothers Day tomorrow. Tom Parker runs a flower shop in Portsmouth. He tells News-10 prices are up but so are sales and he knows why.....Preview: His prices include a tariff markup of 10% for flowers from Columbia and 16.8% for flowers from Ecuador. Inflation, too. But Parker says he had 200 delivery orders by Friday morning and expects hundreds more before the weekend ends.

The former treasurer of the Little Theatre of Norfolk gets 9 months in jail for stealing $27,000 from the nonprofit. 45 yr old Christopher Bernhardt entered into a plea agreement last year in which he agreed to repay the money. He didn’t make payments so he’s going to jail.
