The county board in Arlington VA blocks police coordination with ICE. State Attorney General Jason Miyares says that only benefits illegal immigrants who commit heinous crimes. Fox News reports Miyares says the Arlington board’s action this week is actually negligence. He says the policy does not protect Virginians.

A western Virginia black bear cub is OK after getting its paw stuck under a 40 lb boulder for days. Rescuers heard the 10-lb cub crying and rescued him May 12th. He’s getting treatment. Experts think maybe the boulder fell on his paw while he was foraging under it.
