2 Chesterfield Co. murder suspects are in a Tennessee jail awaiting extradition to Virginia. Police accuse 21 yr old Zhekour Ross and 29 yr old Amaris Hemphill of killing 22 yr old Qadriq Scott last Saturday. They’re in the Putnam Co. TN jail after arrest on Wednesday.

Scandal in the Petersburg school district. Records show former Superintendent Dr. Tamara Sterling spending over $22,000 on trips to conferences during her 15-month tenure. That's double what the Henrico superintendent spent in that time. Petersburg parent David Mueller [MEW-lehr] tells CBS-6 it's wrong.....Preview: Dr. Sterling resigned in March 2 yrs before the end of her contract. The teachers' union wants the school board to do a better job with taxpayer money.

The famous Virginia Beach signs that prohibits cursing on the Oceanfront are going up for auction. All to raise money for police-related charity programs. They’ve been in storage since the city removed them in 2019. Up to 30 signs on the block.
