Elective surgery is on-hold at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville because of a national shortage of I-V fluid. The 2 recent storms leave supply chains snarled and the result is shortages. UVA canceled non-urgent surgeries last Monday and yesterday [Friday]. Ditto in Culpeper, Haymarket, and Manassas.

Chesterfield Co. Police arrest 5 women at 3 massage parlors from late September to October 3rd. Among them: 55 yr old Chunxia Ma at Green Massage Spa charged with keeping/residing in a bawdy place and prostitution. She’s from Flushing NY. All 5 women released on a summons.
