Relief is on the way for northern Virginia commuters. Fairfax Co.'s new $58.38 million parking garage opens a week from today [Saturday] in Springfield. And these Virginia commuters tell News-4 they can't wait.....Preview: The Springfield garage will have 1,100 parking spaces, a transit center with 7 bus bays, pickup and drop-off zones, secure bicycle storage, and dedicated spaces for commuters. Daily commuter parking is free but no long-term parking.

Virginia Beach Police are charging a son with killing his father after police find the man in his townhouse tied up and dead. Neighbors found 66 yr old Scott Seitz Sunday after he didn’t answer knocks on his door. Police are charging 25 yr old Seth Seitz with 2nd degree murder and he’s in jail without bond. No word on cause of death.
