(Bedford VA) - School test scores are up for Bedford Co. students in the Piedmont. 75% of Bedford Co. students passed the reading test in the 2022-23, but that's up to 77% for 2023-24. Math score passage is up from 72% to 77%. Curriculum Director Shawn Trosper tells ABC-13 they worked at it.....Preview: He says passage rates in science are also up -- from 65% in 2022-23 to 70% in 2023-24. He calls recovery a multi-year challenge and says they're aiming for more improvement this academic year.
