(voicer) - The state House passed the measure on Friday that would repeal changes made to a military college tuition program. The Virginia Military Survivors and Dependents Education Program covers up to eight semesters for children and spouses of qualified disabled service members. Adjustments made to the benefits back in May created stricter eligibility requirements, causing some families to pay out-of-pocket. The Virginia Senate is set to vote on the bill on Monday. If it passes, Governor Glenn Youngkin says he will sign the legislation into law. I'm Madison Roberts.
