(Portsmouth VA) - Portsmouth Police say a woman is dead after 3 pit bulls mauled her at a house about 1:30 Friday morning. Police Chief Stephen Jenkins tells WAVY-TV right now it's a death investigation.....Preview: He says officers have been at the home 3 times in the last 12 months -- once to investigate a bite. The 3 pit bulls are in custody. A neighbor says the woman was visiting the man who owns the house and dogs. No charges, so far.
