(Rchmond VA) -- A burn ban is in effect for part of the Greater Richmond Area. Madison Roberts reports.....Preview: ###
(voicer) - Hanover County Fire Marshal has issued the order in preparation for a dry weekend. While the ban is in place, residents will not be allowed to ignite bonfires, or burn any flammable materials, like debris. The ordinance, which is also impacting Orange County, will remain in place until conditions improve. The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality says a dozen counties in the northern portion of the state and Shenandoah Region are under a drought warning advisory. Meanwhile, 95 counties and cities are under a drought watch. I'm Madison Roberts.
