(Virginia Beach VA) - Virginia Beach is planning a memorial to people killed in the 2019 mass shooting. 12 people died May 31st, 2019, in the City Municipal Center. Others wounded seriously. The city's Chad Morris tells News-10 the memorial will be near a pond and away from the municipal building.....Preview: The design includes a survivors grove with sayings on a wall, stones honoring victims, a hero tree for 1st responders, and a fountain with the names of everyone killed.
