(Richmond VA) - More parts of Virginia are feeling the impact of extremely dry conditions. Madison Roberts reports.....Preview: ###
(voicer) - The state Department of Environmental Quality has extended a drought warning advisory to include 60 counties and cities. The extended order that went into effect on Friday is in response to increased temperatures and a lack of rainfall. It includes portions of the state's central, northern, and far western region, as well as parts of the Upper James and Shenandoah area. Impacted communities are urged to conserve water during this time. Meanwhile, 15 counties and cities in Southeast Virginia are no longer under a drought water advisory due to recent rain.
