Governor Glenn Youngkin has established Virginia's new Artificial Intelligence Task Force, comprising 10 leading AI experts in the state. This task force, mandated by an executive order issued in January, will convene at least twice a year to provide recommendations on AI to Virginia's executive and legislative branches. WRIC reports that the AI Task Force will assess current and proposed AI applications by state agencies, aiming to enhance AI governance and utilization in Virginia.
