(Richmond, VA) -- A recent poll suggest that the majority of Virginian are in favor of rights to an Abortion being written into the state Constitution along with support for higher education. Katie Gray explains.Preview: SCRIPT:
findings showed that 62% of Virginians support including the right to an abortion in the Virginia Constitution. The Commonwealth Poll was conducted by the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University. It also showed nearly 78% of respondents approve of Historically Black Colleges and Universities receiving annual state funding for operating expenses. The poll also revealed divided opinions on the value of a college education, with 43% believing it is essential for future success and 44% feeling its importance has declined.
