Authorities are releasing more information about an acid spill at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. The spill happened Tuesday morning in the railyard at the plant. Initial estimates put the amount of nitric acid released at around 600 gallons. That was updated yesterday to more than 65-hundred gallons. One person was evaluated for injuries following the spill. Officials say cleanup efforts at the plant are going well.
