Democratic Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner announced yesterday that the state will receive money from several programs administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The funding includes 58-million in community development block grants and more than 24-million for programs to rehabilitate, build or buy affordable homes. The remaining money will help provide emergency shelter for those in need and housing assistance for Virginians with HIV and AIDS. I'm Richard Stelling.
