Last week, the Trump administration threatened to impose a tariff on wine, champagne, and spirits coming from Europe, if the EU goes through with a 50% tariff on American whiskey. And distillery owners and distribution centers in Virginia say this will hurt business and likely affect every bar and restaurant in the country. And they add if their costs increase to do business, the increase will likely hit their customers.
