Montgomery Museum is partnering with Commonwealth Senior Living to offer "Please Touch Workshops" for residents in the memory care neighborhood. Organizers say the workshops aim to provide seniors with cognitive decline the opportunity to experience art with different textures. Participants will learn how to create paintings using various materials and textures, with the option to donate their work to CSL or take it home. WDBJ reports that the art will be displayed at the museum in May and then moved to the Memory Care Neighborhood at CSL for three months. Registration is required to participate in the workshops.
