Artspace is seeking $800,000 in predevelopment support from the city to cover costs. The nonprofit's investment in the project could total $20 million, with all housing units being affordable.
The Roanoke times reports The city council is considering the funding request, which could potentially transform the neighborhood and bring new arts and culture amenities to the area.
