Richmond residents may feel a sense of normalcy has returned. The city on Saturday lifted its Boil Water Advisory that had been in place for days. Last week's storm caused problems at the city's water treatment plant, but officials said yesterday water service restoration efforts were successful, and operations continue to function as intended.
The Virginia State Police are investigating after a body was discovered at a homeless camp in Norfolk. The Norfolk Police Department informed the state police of the discovery just before two o'clock yesterday afternoon. The camp was located in a wooded area near the Tidewater Drive exit from Interstate 64 West.
A Fluvanna County official is facing charges after complaints by at least two county workers. Emergency Services Director James True reportedly turned himself in to the Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office .
