Police in Danville say a woman is in custody after an elderly man's death. Officers found 78-year-old Arvel Shrewsbury dead on Friday while serving a search warrant at a home on Pineview Drive. They arrested 58-year-old Jeanette Perez Staton in another part of the city and charged her with second-degree murder. The police department said Staton and Shrewsbury knew each other.
