A small earthquake is responsible for an early-morning wake-up call in Central Virginia. The magnitude 2.2 quake rattled Henrico County around quarter-of-three this morning near Wyndham. It was the second quake in the area in about nine hours. The first one was slightly stronger at 2.8. No injuries or damages were reported in either quake.
Two people are displaced after a fire in Chesterfield County. It happened yesterday afternoon at a home on Cicero Parkway. It took firefighters about half-an-hour to put out the fire. No one was hurt, but the Red Cross is helping two residents who are now displaced. Investigators believe the fire was cooking-related. They say the homeowner thought they put out the fire earlier in the day, but it spread into the wall and the attic.
