(Lynchburg, VA) -- Election workers in Virginia's Fifth Congressional District will begin recounting ballots turned in during June's Republican primary today. Richard Stelling reports.Preview: Voicer Script:
Congressman Bob Good is paying for a recount of the ballots after losing to state Senator John McGuire by less than 400 votes. Workers in the 12-county district that includes Charlottesville, Lynchburg and Danville are expected to begin work early this morning as representatives of the Good and McGuire campaigns observe. The results will be driven to Goochland County, where a three-judge panel will review and determine the winner of the primary.
