Former Norfolk bank teller Imani Adams pleaded guilty to stealing over $100,000 from an elderly customer by forging the victim's name on withdrawal slips and embezzling cash from the victim's account. Adams was convicted on multiple felony charges and will be sentenced on October 18th. Thirteen News now reports that the bank discovered the theft during an internal investigation and reported Adams to the police, who restored the stolen money to the victim's account. As part of her plea agreement, Adams must pay the full $119,000 in restitution to the bank.
