(Waynesboro, VA) -- The Virginia Wildlife Center is releasing several black bears into the wild after a year of rehabilitation. Richard Stelling with the details.Preview: Voicer Script:
The Waynesboro facility received seven bear cubs last year. Team members spend a year helping the cubs recover from any injuries and allowing them to grow into young adults. Three of the bears were released last week and the rest will be set free next Monday. The wildlife center is the only organization in Virginia allowed to house and raise black bear cubs.
