Governor Youngkin wants the General Assembly to approve more money for behavioral health programs in Virginia. The governor announced yesterday that he plans to ask for another 70-million dollars in funding when he unveils his budget amendments next week. He also praised the "Right Help, Right Now" behavioral health initiative he introduced two years ago. Youngkin says the program has reduced drug overdoses and increased the number of mobile crisis teams available statewide.
