The Virginia Beach Police Department, with help from the Chesapeake Police Department and Homeland Security, seized of 156 pounds of methamphetamine in Virginia Beach. Officials say this operation disrupts meth distribution networks in the Hampton Roads area. Shore News Network reports Alonzo Harden Jr., from St. Paul, Minnesota, was arrested after officers found the drugs, valued at $350,000, in his vehicle during an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. Harden faces charges including possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance.
