Governor Youngkin has until the end of the day to sign, veto or amend bills passed by the General Assembly earlier this year.
Richard Stelling reports...Preview: The governor announced Friday that he'd signed 88 bills into law, amended 11 bills and vetoed 11 others. Youngkin rejected several bills related to abortion and reproductive access, though he did approve one that would prevent the use of court orders to demand women's menstrual health data. Among the bills amended by the governor was one that would allow Petersburg to hold a referendum on building a casino. The governor still needs to decide whether he will amend or veto a state budget package that he's described as backward and a huge tax increase for Virginians.
