The proposed bylaw change under consideration involves allowing board members to attend meetings via electronic methods like Zoom. While members can participate and vote electronically, their attendance does not count toward the quorum requirement, which mandates a minimum number of supervisors to be physically present for decisions to be made. The Cardinal News reports the proposed budget calendar includes a joint meeting with the school board on February 25th and budget requests scheduled for February 7th, with the appropriation of the total county budget tentatively set for May 27th.
