(Roanoke, VA) -- A bus advocacy group in Roanoke has used an unconventional forum to get candidates for Mayor and City Council to speak to voters. Rocio Rivera has more.Preview: The Bus Riders of Roanoke Advocacy Group (BRRAG) hosted a forum on wheels. Many candidates running for Mayor like Republican David Bowers and Democrat Joe Cobb attended the bus forum yesterday. All of the council canidates also joined the ride. The advocacy group tells 10 News some candidates may have never even actually ridden the city bus, so this opportunity was key in seeing some of the challenges daily bus riders face. The group added that a bus ride is worth 1-thousand pictures. I'm RR.
