(Stafford County, VA) --A Virginia school district says they're now using a opt-in model when it comes to student transportation. Rocio Rivera has more on what caused the change.Preview: Stafford County Public Schools say's they're having parents fill out forms if their child needs bus transporation for the next school year. This comes after hundreds of students were left stand out in the cold on the first day of school this year. The school board says familes will have access to opt-in beginning April 8th. And the district will have a social media and newsletter campaign in April and May to get the word out on the changes. Final bus routes will be mapped out over the summer and finalized by July 29th.
