Several flights were cancelled or delayed because of the amount of snowstorm in Hampton Roads, along with multiple parts of the state over the last two days. Thursday, flights scheduled to Chicago, Atlanta, and Charlotte were delayed, while ones to Detroit and Minneapolis were canceled all together. Officials say that Wednesday, 17 arrivals and 11 departures were cancelled. 10 On Your Side reports that passengers are advised to check the airport's website for updates on flight statuses. Airport officials are working to keep runways clear and individual airlines are responsible for cancelling flights.
