Virginia-based Prevent Cancer Foundation conducted a survery of adults on routine cancer screenings. They found about 51% say they had a screening in the past year. That's a 10% decline from last year. And the top reason for foregoing a screening was not knowing they needed to be screened because they felt fine. The highest screening rates were for women and mammograms with about 65% of women reporging they were up to date with breast cancer screenings. The Prevent Cancer Foundation says early screenings are the best way to survive cancer if you develop it. I'm RR.
