The number of jobs promised by the casino dropped from 13 hundred to at least 9 hundred. The entertainment venue and conference center will be consolidated, and Caesars will donate Wood Avenue to the city for future development. The city has received approximately $40 million in revenue from the project and plans to allocate it based on the Investing in Danville Plan, focusing on economic development, education, and crime prevention.
