Voters yesterday passed the casino referendum with almost 82 percent support. The Cordish Company previously lost two votes to build a casino in Richmond. The project also includes an entertainment venue, a hotel and a convention center. Petersburg Mayor Sam Parham says the citizens have spoken, and they are excited.
