The event is scheduled at London Bridge Baptist Church on this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event aims to reduce catalytic converter theft, with over 80 vehicles engraved in a previous event. Authorites say the engraving the VIN number helps deter theft and resale to auto parts recyclers. Residents are encouraged to park in secure, well-lit areas with security cameras to further prevent theft.
