The yearly co-mingle cattle sale at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex allows small- to medium-sized farmers like Darrell Dalton to sell their cattle closer to home, increasing profits and buyer interaction. Co-mingling involves grouping and selling calves together, benefiting producers who can't fill a tractor-trailer load on their own. The Cardinal News reports that with over 40 active buyers and 4,600 head sold in 2023, the sale has grown significantly since its inception, providing a valuable platform for producers to showcase their cattle and build relationships with buyers.
