Governor Youngkin issued an executive order earlier this month saying school districts must put plans in place to stop student cell phone use in classrooms. In his order he cited data showing an increase in suicide, depression, and anxiety in kids as cell phone use increased. While most parents in Virginia say they're on board, others are raising safety concerns saying they need to be able to contact their children in an emergency.
