Parents and educators took part in a meeting in Roanoke County yesterday, with most agreeing that cellphone use needs to be limited while students are in class. State officials say the biggest question about the proposed policy is determining where and when it will apply, with some stakeholders pushing for restrictions outside the classroom both before and after school. Meetings are scheduled for today in Abingdon and tomorrow in Keysville, with the last forum set for Tuesday in Midlothian.
